Charles Street Business Park
Anchored with the new 50,000 SF Emerson Network Power manufacturing building, the Charles Street Business Park offers 27 acres ready for commercial and industrial development. Owned and operated by the Broome County Industrial Development Agency (www.bcida.com), this upstate New York industrial park also hosts a 48MW cogeneration plant which provides thermal and electrical energy. This shovel-ready site neighbors the intersections of NY Route 17/Interstate 86, Interstate 81 and 88. Binghamton is served by three national railroads: Norfolk Southern, Canadian Pacific and NY Susquehanna & Western Railways (connects to CSX) and is within 10 miles of a commercial airport served by US Airways, Delta and United Express. The Charles Street Park is located over one of the largest acquifers in the State with capacity of 10-20M gallons/day. This prime location can be subdivided into 4-6 acre parcels. The City of Binghamton in cooperation with Broome County and New York State's Empire State Development Agency, is eager to provide financial and technical assistance for commercial and industrial development at this location. For more information, please contact the Binghamton Economic Development Office at (607) 772-7161 or ecodev@CityofBinghamton.com.
